News: Bluesfest Byron Bay unveil third artist announcement for their 35th iteration of iconic festival in 2024.

Bluesfest Byron Bay has just released the third announcement of artists for it’s 2024 festival. The announcement concentrates on those artists who will appear, and headline the festival on the first day, Thursday 28th March.

Heading up the 11 artists in this announcement are US pop-rock sensations, Portugal. The Man; Australian independent singer-songwriter and global artist, Ziggy Alberts; US jazz-funk collective Snarky Puppy; US gospel-blues legends Blind Boys Of Alabama and the critically acclaimed neo-soul/jazz superstar Meshell Ndegeocello along with the First Lady of Australian blues Fiona Boyes and her band The Fortune Tellers; the swampy crossover of Australian blues slide guitar and US gospel/soul lap-slide of The Turner Brown Band; the highly-energetic, independent Aussie roots exponents Pierce Brothers; Australian First Nations psychedelic band Velvet Trip; the former busker turned blues powerhouse, soul-drenched torch singer, folk balladeer and electro house diva Roshani, and the good-times mash of soul, blues, country and rock in Melbourne 6-piece, Sweet Talk.
