Bristol, UK – Indie-rock singer-songwriter Chandra has set the stage ablaze with his latest release, the captivating and guitar-fuelled anthem ‘Lighters To The Sky.’ Inspired by a profound realization, the Bristol-based artist uses his musical prowess to promote self-belief, support, and the pursuit of dreams.

Chandra’s introspective journey began when he observed a lack of recognition and support within his social circle for the remarkable accomplishments and personal journeys of those around him. Troubled by the impact of negative comments and the absence of encouragement, he resolved to compose a song that would uplift and inspire individuals daring to pursue something extraordinary.

Through ‘Lighters To The Sky,’ Chandra accentuates the significance of genuine support and the transformative power of even a single positive comment. The infectious melodies and anthemic chorus captivate listeners, echoing the message of unity and uplifting one another. Chandra’s poignant lyrics and impassioned vocals resonate deeply, urging fans to embrace their true selves and strive fearlessly towards their dreams.

“I wanted to write a positive, uplifting antidote to the blues” says Chandra. “This is basically a love song to all the people who have a dream but are struggling… who know deep down inside what they want to do but can’t find the support they need to follow it through” continues Chandra.“It’s also as much about people recognising that they can help someone in spades just by being a little bit supportive. We all understand what it feels like to come together at a gig and hold our lighters or phones up to the sky… imagine if you could give someone that kind of support… how much of a lasting boost that might give someone.”

The accompanying music video for ‘Lighters To The Sky’ serves as a visual testament to the song’s powerful message. It vividly portrays the notion that achieving greatness doesn’t always require monumental feats, highlighting the importance of celebrating even the smallest victories. From individuals pursuing their passions to personal milestones, the video showcases a montage of triumphs, demonstrating that every step forward is worthy of acknowledgment.

Chandra’s musical style intertwines indie-rock sensibilities with infectious hooks, resulting in an uplifting and anthemic sound that resonates with audiences far and wide. His distinctive blend of catchy melodies and introspective songwriting has garnered him a dedicated following, and ‘Lighters To The Sky’ is poised to propel him even further into the musical spotlight.

As Chandra’s latest single continues to gain traction, fans eagerly anticipate his upcoming projects and the positive impact his music will have on their lives. With ‘Lighters To The Sky,’ this Bristol-based artist offers not only a musical experience but also a powerful reminder to support one another, celebrate even the smallest victories, and relentlessly pursue one’s dreams.

In a world where negativity often prevails, Chandra’s music serves as a beacon of hope, inspiring listeners to embrace their authentic selves and encourage those around them. With ‘Lighters To The Sky,’ he ignites a fire within hearts, urging all to raise their lighters, illuminate the path ahead, and embark on a journey of self-discovery and triumph.
