Cambridge Folk Festival has sold out for the 23rd year running. The Cambridgeshire institution has advised not to travel to the festival at Cherry Hinton Hall without a ticket. If you missed your chance, then highlights will be broadcast on Radio 2 on Wednesday August 3rd, and Sky Arts later in the year.
Performers this year range from the rockabilly of Imelda May, the more typical folk of Kate Rusby, and riding the wave of their many plaudits received this year, This Is The Kit will be making an appearance.
As well as the musical acts, there’s also a series of talks – including one from the Songs of Separation collaborators, talking about their recent project on Eigg.
