PJ Harvey is making her long-awaited return to Australia in 2025, ending nearly a decade of absence from stages that have long needed her presence.

Harvey’s career has been a masterclass in reinvention. From the visceral urgency of Dry and Rid of Me to the poetic ambition of Let England Shake and the raw emotional landscapes of I Inside the Old Year Dying (2023), she’s shaped the contours of alternative music.
For a generation that grew up on her records, Harvey’s voice, uncompromising and untethered, is needed now more than ever. If anything, her music feels sharper, more necessary, as we stand at the edge of a world grappling with its own contradictions.
