A remix in the right hands can be a beautiful thing. Dimitri from Paris has a track record of reworking some of the greatest disco tracks and made them reach new heights… And coming in June is a collection of his greatest Chic remixes – the snappily entitled, “Dimitri From Paris presents Le CHIC Remix”. Think subtle enhancement rather than wholesale reworkings, but the collection will include a number of new remixes, including a new version of Sister Sledge’s “Thinking of You” as well as classics like Dimitri’s reworking of “Lost in Music”.

These are the tracks that will make up the new collection (all tracks are Dimitri’s remixes).

1. CHIC – Le Freak
2. Sister Sledge – Lost In Music
3. CHIC – I Want Your Love
4. Norma Jean – Saturday
5. Sister Sledge – Thinking Of You
6. CHIC – Forbidden Lover
7. Sister Sledge – He’s The Greatest Dancer
8. CHIC – I Feel Your Love Coming On
9. Sister Sledge – Got To Love Somebody
10. SB Devotion – Your Love Is Good

And for the bumper 2CD version, there’s also a 2nd CD of instrumentals of the above. It will also be available on vinyl, details to follow nearer the time.
