As Dropkick Murphys prepare to launch their headlining European tour–which includes Wembley Arena in London on January 21–the band will release an expanded edition of their This Machine Still Kills Fascists album digitally this Friday, January 13 via the band’s Dummy Luck Music / [PIAS].

This Machine Still Kills Fascists (Expanded Edition) will feature three live versions of songs on the original release and two alternate song versions. The expanded edition features special guests Evan Felker of Turnpike Troubadours, Nikki Lane, Sammy Amara of Broilers, Jaime Wyatt, Woody Guthrie’s grandson Cole Quest and The American Songster® Dom Flemons.

This Machine Still Kills Fascists is unlike anything Dropkick Murphys have done to date: A full album of songs that bring Woody Guthrie’s words to life. Not a tribute album or a collection of covers, This Machine Still Kills Fascists is a collaboration between Dropkick Murphys and Woody Guthrie – artists separated by time and space, but connected by a common philosophy – to create something entirely new.

A special version of “Cadillac, Cadillac” featuring Sammy Amara of legendary German punk band Broilers is available now as the first single and video. The video was directed by Mike Rivkees of The Rumjacks.

Dropkick Murphys’ Ken Casey explained, “’Cadillac, Cadillac’ is the story of the guy standing on the corner watching the American dream roll by on four wheels. He doesn’t have one but he knows he needs one…‘I gotta have me a Cadillac’.”

For the upcoming Dropkick Murphys European trek, the band will be joined by very special guests Pennywise, plus openers The Rumjacks and Jesse Ahern on most dates. The tour kicks off January 13 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and includes a January 14 show in Dublin, Ireland, with Dublin’s own acoustic rockers The Scratch. Pennywise joins the tour January 16 in Newcastle, England and continues through the end of the run in Mannheim, Germany on February 18.

On March 1, Dropkick Murphys will kick off their annual run of St. Patrick’s Day rock shows with The Rumjacks and Jesse Ahern opening most shows. Pega Presents…Dropkick Murphys St. Patrick’s Day 2023 Tour culminates with four hometown Boston shows which include March 16, 17 and 18 at the new MGM Music Hall at Fenway and March 19 at House Of Blues Boston. Very special guests Turnpike Troubadours join Dropkick Murphys for all three shows at MGM Music Hall at Fenway, while Nikki Lane also joins the bill on March 16. Tickets for March 17, 18 and 19 are sold out, but a limited number of tickets are still available for the March 16 show, which was added due to fan demand.

Later in 2023, Dropkick Murphys will headline one night (TBA) of Punk Rock Bowling, the fan favorite event which is set for May 26-29 in downtown Las Vegas.
