In eager anticipation of their forthcoming ‘We Shall Remain’ European headline tour starting on October 3, Swedish symphonic dark metal stalwarts Eleine have delighted their legion with a new digital 2-track single today: ‘Through The Mist’ (incl. its instrumental version) is now available on all streaming platforms!

The song opens with punchy riffs and drums, featuring guitarist Rikard Ekberg‘s rarely heard clean vocals, which then transition into his signature growling. Madeleine Liljestam takes over the lead, delivering a highly redeeming chorus that aims to bring hope to those struggling.

“Then we prepare us for the fall”

“Sometimes you know you won’t win a battle. But just because you lost the battle, doesn’t mean you lost the war. ‘Through The Mist’ dives into the moments in the midst of battles, physically or mentally, where you may realize that you won’t win this particular battle. Despite this, you push through for the sake of yourself and those around you, fighting until the very end. ‘United we stand’ is often mentioned from ELEINE for a reason. The bond between us as a band and our fans is strong and it will always be a two-way street where we remind each other to continue to fight side by side. The song contains a part that is directly pointed towards our fans and how proud we are of everyone out there that continues to fight daily,” conclude Madeleine and Rikard.
