With only 15 weeks to go, Bluesfest Byron Bay has just added a further two artists (along with special guests) to its’ already impressive lineup for Easter 2024. These additions take the total number of acts up to 51, with more to be announced.

Making his way onto the lineup will be four-time Grammy Award winner, PJ Morton (also known as keyboard player for pop sensations, Maroon 5) who will bring his slick R&B grooves to the stages of the festival.

Joining him will be The Allman Betts Band, founded by Devon Allman and Duane Betts, the sons of Gregg Allman and Dickey Betts, two of the original members of legendary 60’s/70’s jam band, The Allman Brothers Band. Their current tour showcases the legacy of the songs written by each of the respective son’s fathers, with special guests Larry McCray and Ally Venable joining them for the Australian tour, including Bluesfest.

Larry McCray is a US blues guitarist much in the styles of the three Kings (Albert, BB and Freddie), whilst Ally Venable is an up-and-coming blues guitarist.

Tickets for Bluesfest Byron Bay, being held from Thursday, 28th March, 2024 through to Monday, 1st April, 2024 are available here.

Both PJ Morton and Allman Betts Band are doing sideshows for Bluesfest Touring for those unable to get to Byron Bay, or who want to catch these acts separately, with tickets available via Bluesfest Touring’s website.
