Get ready, Australia! As the Good Things Festival rolls into town, some of the festival’s top acts are hitting the road for exclusive sideshows. From punk rock legends to heavy metal icons, these intimate gigs will offer fans the chance to experience their favourite artists up close.

Don’t miss out! Early bird tickets drop on Wednesday 30 October, with general sales starting Friday 1 November at Good Things Festival.

Below is the full breakdown of the sideshows:

Sum 41 (with Grandson)*

Canadian pop-punk legends SUM 41 bid farewell to Australia on their final tour, delivering fan-favorite anthems and electrifying hits across decades of albums. Known for blending pop-punk energy with heavy metal riffs, their career is a nostalgic soundtrack for millennials.

4 Dec – Fortitude Music Hall, Brisbane
10 Dec – AEC Theatre, Adelaide
12 Dec – Margaret Court Arena, Melbourne
14 Dec – Hordern Pavilion, Sydney (Grandson not appearing)

Violent Femmes

Icons of acoustic punk, Violent Femmes have inspired generations with their raw, quirky sound. Their honest lyrics and multi-generational appeal make their live shows unforgettable.

5 Dec – Palais Theatre, Melbourne

Billy Corgan

The Smashing Pumpkins frontman returns with a solo set, mixing tracks from his solo catalog with iconic Smashing Pumpkins material. With The Delta Riggs as his backing band, Corgan offers a rare, introspective performance.

1 Dec – Hindley St Music Hall, Adelaide
3 Dec – Palais Theatre, Melbourne
4 Dec – Enmore Theatre, Sydney

Mastodon (with Kerry King)

MASTODON’s progressive metal fuses haunting melodies and heavy riffs, making them a must-see. Joining them is Slayer’s Kerry King, bringing thrash power with new solo material and Slayer classics.

3 Dec – Roundhouse, Sydney
4 Dec – Northcote Theatre, Melbourne

The Gaslight Anthem

Returning after a decade, this New Jersey band combines punk with heartland rock. Their soulful comeback album explores themes of life, loss, and resilience.

Bowling For Soup (with Taylor Acorn)

Pop-punk veterans BOWLING FOR SOUP deliver a nostalgic party atmosphere, playing hits like 1985 and High School Never Ends. TAYLOR ACORN adds a fresh edge with her heartfelt, punk-inspired sound.

Sleeping With Sirens

With emotional lyrics and powerful hooks, this Florida-based band blends emo, rock, and alternative styles. Their fan-driven performances promise massive sing-alongs.

Mixing rock, reggae, rap, and funk, 311 returns to Australia after two decades. Known for their genre-fluid sound and dynamic live shows, this long-running lineup is ready to rock once again.

Destroy Boys + Alex Lahey
