News: Jason Derulo brings The Last Dance (Part 1) to Australia this September

Jason Derulo is lining up another Australian takeover. Off the back of his new album The Last Dance (Part 1), the global pop and R&B mainstay has announced a full-scale arena return this September, bringing The Last Dance World Tour to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

Kicking off at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on 17 September, the tour rolls through Qudos Bank Arena, Rod Laver Arena and RAC Arena, mapping a familiar but still formidable run across the country. It’s a route built for scale — and Derulo has never been one to think small.

Across more than a decade, Derulo has carved out a lane that sits somewhere between pop maximalism and R&B precision, stacking chart hits with a performance style that leans heavily on choreography, spectacle and relentless energy. This tour promises exactly that: a full retrospective of the hits, dialled up with high-impact visuals and tightly drilled routines that blur the line between concert and full production.

The new record, The Last Dance (Part 1), plays into that sense of transition. An eight-track release featuring six new songs — including ‘Sexy For Me’ — alongside two fan favourites, it’s framed as the closing chapter of one phase before something new takes shape. For an artist who’s built a career on adaptability, that pivot feels less like a risk and more like routine reinvention.

Then there’s the digital footprint. With close to 250 million followers across platforms — including over 66 million on TikTok — Derulo operates in a space where pop stardom and internet culture overlap completely. The result is an artist whose reach extends far beyond radio, into the daily scroll of a global audience.

For all the metrics, streams and followers, though, the real test remains the same: the live show. And if history is anything to go by, Derulo knows exactly how to deliver one.
