Left On Read, the dynamic trio comprised of brothers Adam and Jack Reeves alongside their close friend Steven Tynan, is making waves in the music scene with their electrifying indie-rock exploits and captivating, youthful storytelling. What started as an enjoyable jamming session among friends has blossomed into a formal project that showcases their immense talent and musical versatility.

Left On Read recently unveiled their latest single, ‘Most of All,’ captivating audiences with its infectious indie-rock sound and groovy flavors. The song came to life through a simple yet funky bassline that served as the foundation for its creation. The rhythm and guitar naturally fell into place, complementing the sultry vibe of the track. Rejecting clichés, Left On Read aimed to convey a deeper emotional narrative with ‘Most of All,’ delving into the realms of unrequited feelings and the struggle to save face despite the heartache.

“‘Most of All’ is a tragedy. It’s about unrequited feelings and an attempt to brush off the hurt to save face,” shares Left On Read.

From their humble beginnings, Left On Read has grown and evolved, pushing the boundaries of their sound with each passing month and year. Their love for experimentation has led them to dabble in a diverse range of genres, effortlessly blending indie rock, funk rock, synth rock, grunge, jazz, and even Latin-inspired tracks into their ever-expanding repertoire. Lockdown provided them with an opportunity to explore and incorporate synth textures, further enhancing their unique aesthetic.

In 2021, the band’s hard work and creativity caught the attention of Creative Ireland, resulting in the prestigious ‘Made in Limerick’ Grant. With four demo tracks recorded in their bedroom studios, Left On Read ventured into the studio to record their highly anticipated debut. The wait was finally over in July 2022 when they unveiled their captivating debut single, ‘Never Enough,’ followed by the equally acclaimed tracks ‘Pick Yourself Up’ and ‘Duet.’

Having left an indelible mark with their initial singles, Left On Read has set their sights on their debut album. Recognizing their immense talent and potential, the band was honored as the recipients of the Dolores O’Riordan Music Bursary in 2022. This esteemed accolade will contribute to the recording of the final tracks for their forthcoming album.

“We want them to connect with it,” the band emphasizes, referring to their listeners’ experience of their music. “Not necessarily take our message at face value, but rather apply it to their own experiences. Most of all, we want them to enjoy the tunes and dance, cry, or sing along – that’s what they’re there for.”

Left On Read continues to captivate audiences with their unique blend of genres, pushing the boundaries of musical expression while delivering heartfelt and relatable stories. As anticipation mounts for their debut album, fans eagerly await the next chapter in the band’s promising journey.

Connect with Left On Read on all streaming platforms to experience their genre-defying sound and embark on an emotional musical journey like no other. Dance, cry, or sing along – Left On Read invites you to immerse yourself in their mesmerizing melodies and thought-provoking narratives.
