Global rock icons Green Day—comprising Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tré Cool—have officially announced the Australian leg of their expansive 2024/25 global stadium tour, The Saviors Tour, presented by Live Nation and Triple M.

In what marks the band’s most ambitious live performances to date, they will perform their seminal albums Dookie and American Idiot in their entirety, alongside tracks from their latest album Saviors and selections from their extensive catalog of hits.

Joining Green Day as special guests will be the acclaimed Californian rock band AFI, making their highly anticipated return to Australia for the first time since 2017.

Green Day’s upcoming tour is more than a victory lap—it’s a testament to their legacy, a full-force celebration of one of the most enduring bands in rock history. In 2025, they’re marking milestones: 30 years since Dookie lit up the airwaves and 20 since American Idiot tore through the post-9/11 political landscape. Both albums reshaped punk, each capturing the anger, disillusionment, and defiant joy of their respective eras.

But this tour isn’t just about nostalgia. Green Day is still burning, guitars blazing, with Saviors bringing fresh fire to their set. Expect stadiums to explode as they roll through decades of hits, their raw energy a reminder that they’re still the standard-bearers of punk culture, evolving without ever losing their edge.
