London rockers Bottomless Brunch make an explosive debut with their sizzling debut single ‘Pawn’.

Produced by the esteemed engineer Tim Greaves of Southsea Sound and drawing inspiration from the diverse vibes of London’s streets, Bottomless Brunch cites influential rock legends such as Queens of the Stone Age, Muse, and Royal Blood. The trio infuses their music with a raw energy that is complemented by impactful and expressive musicianship, creating a sound that resonates with both familiarity and innovation.

‘Pawn’ serves as a bold introduction to Bottomless Brunch’s high-octane, vibrant rock style – capturing the energy of their live shows whilst retaining a tight studio sound. The track wastes no time in immersing listeners in its sonic landscape, featuring punching drums, grinding distortion-soaked bass, and tight, soaring guitar riffs that define the band’s musical ethos. The infectious vocals leads the charge with urgent, expressive, and infectious delivery, the track is given a vibrant and catchy lead line to give the track a catchy edge.

Culminating in an explosive and euphoric climax, the band showcase a remarkably complete and well formed sound despite being their debut.

Talking about the track the band explain: “Pawn is about how positive emotions can overpower and warp the mind, turning those positive feelings into something negative. It explores the idea of being so head-over-heels in love with something or someone that it comes at the detriment of your sanity. We’ve all experienced or witnessed this, whether it’s a fixation with a hobby or an infatuation with a lover. If you’re not careful, you can soon become a pawn in someone’s twisted game.”

Delving into themes of love, loss, and relentless ambition, Bottomless Brunch aim to encapsulate the diverse and vibrant culture of London’s music scene while forging a unique, considered, and intense rock sound. The trio’s fearless approach to exploring these themes and their commitment to capturing the essence of London’s musical vibrancy positions them as a rising force in the rock genre.

Bottomless Brunch’s debut single ‘Pawn’ not only marks the beginning of an exciting musical journey but also serves as a testament to the band’s ability to navigate through complex emotions with finesse and authenticity. As the trio sets their sights on making an impact in the London music scene, ‘Pawn’ positions them as one to watch.
