Mudvayne and Coal Chamber have announced a joint Australian tour in 2024.

Mudvayne have sold more than six million albums worldwide with 3 Platinum albums in Australia alone. The band is known for its unique visual appearance, characterized by elaborate face paint and stage personas, which add to their mystique and theatricality.

Mudvayne achieved mainstream success with their second album, “The End of All Things to Come” (2002), which featured the hit single “Not Falling.” Their debut album, “L.D. 50” (2000), is considered a classic in the nu-metal genre and showcased their innovative approach to music. Mudvayne’s musical alchemy defies categorisation, seamlessly blending death metal, jazz, fusion, progressive rock, and world music into an audacious mix that completely sets them apart from their peers; so much so that they are unofficially credited with creating the ‘math metal’ genre.

Coal Chamber

Joining forces with Mudvayne for the 2024 Australian tour will be Coal Chamber, one of the first bands to weave detuned guitars, noisy textures, white knuckle intensity, hardcore punk, and hip hop. Bridging the gap between heavy metal power and industrial groove at an infectious tempo, Coal Chamber’s self titled debut delivered the classics, ‘Loco’, ‘Sway’, ‘Big Truck’, and ‘Oddity’ and was included in Kerrang! Magazines’ ‘Greatest Nu-Metal Albums of All Time’.

TOUR DATES
February 14: Fortitude Music Hall, Brisbane
February 16: Hordern Pavilion, Sydney
February 17: Festival Hall, Melbourne
February 19: Hindley Street Music Hall, Adelaide
February 21: Metro City, Perth
