Prateek Kuhad will be heading to Australia for the first time since 2016 for a run of national shows, marking his final stop on his global tour.

He will be performing his third studio album ‘The Way That Lovers Do’ recorded at Seattle’s secluded Bear Creek Studio with producer Ryan Hadlock (The Lumineers and Vance Joy) to Australian audiences for the first time.

In 2020, Kuhad made history as the first solo Indian artist to join Elektra Records. The news coincided with the re-release of his breakthrough EP from 2018, ‘cold / mess’, which received widespread critical acclaim and praise from NPR, Vulture, Billboard, Uproxx, and former President Barack Obama, who featured ‘cold / mess’ on his 2019 Songs of the Year playlist.

With his emotive vocal delivery and soul-stirring lyrics, Kuhad has carved a niche for himself in the contemporary music scene, not just in India but globally as well. His tracks, often characterized by their melodic simplicity and heartfelt lyrics, resonate with listeners and evoke a wide range of emotions.
