Following the release of his critically acclaimed album WHO CARES?, Rex Orange County debuts his new song, “THREAT,” an upbeat and melodic summer single that Rex wrote and produced with his close friends Teo Halm and Jim Reed.

The release of “THREAT” comes just days before Rex’s biggest show to date. On Saturday, August 13, he plays a sold-out hometown performance to 20,000 people in Gunnersbury Park, London. This follows a two-month multi-city run in North America that saw Rex performing sold-out shows at iconic venues including The Hollywood Bowl, Forest Hills Stadium, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and more.

Earlier this year, Rex released his latest album, WHO CARES?, which charted #1 in the UK, #2 in Australia, and #5 in the US. The record includes stand-out songs such as “AMAZING,” “THE SHADE,” “KEEP IT UP,” and “OPEN A WINDOW” featuring Tyler, The Creator, marking the first time the two have collaborated since Tyler’s 2017 album Flower Boy. Complex praised the album in their ‘Best of 2022 So Far’ list, calling it “sobering, uplifting, fun, and honest all at the same time, making for a great addition to his expanding catalog.”
