The radiant sunshine from Western Australia includes in one of its incandescent beams the brilliant Tame Impala: those world conquering psychedelic wonders jet propelled by the stupendously talented Kevin Parker. And given it is the festive season, news has just been released that the band will be unleashing a wonder package of gifts for the fans: a box set of b-sides and remixes and a momentous world tour with tickets going on sale 10 December 2022 local times. And that’s not all. To further embellish this cornucopia of goodness, Tame Impala have also released a news single, ‘No Chance’, out through Island Records Australia.

‘No Chance’ is classic dreamy, floaty Tame Impala: Parker’s voice a searing and mesmerising veneer over the smooth flowing instrumentation and a muscular roaming bass. It’s a new release that adds an indelible glow to the box set.

‘The Slow Rush’ Deluxe Box Set is set to be released on Friday 18 February 2022.

Featuring b-sides and remixes of Parker’s GRAMMY-nominated 2020 album, the physical version of The Slow Rush Deluxe Box Set will feature two transparent red LP’s and alternate artwork including a 40-page booklet and The Slow Rush 2050 calendar. Both the physical and digital versions will feature two never-before-heard b-sides, the pre-album single Patience (both original and remix), plus additional extended versions and remixes including ‘Breathe Deeper’ (Lil Yachty Remix) and  ‘No Choice’. The box set is available for pre-order here.

Tame Impala will be setting out on a massive tour in the northern hemisphere and Australia and New Zealand in the New Year. Christmas keeps on coming. Full details below with links to local ticket outlets:
