The Entitled Sons, consisting of siblings Charlie (vocals), Rafferty (guitar), Billy (keys), Laurie (drums), and their dad Graham (bass), have been on a meteoric rise since their debut single ‘Break’ in 2022. The 5 piece now return with the radiant new single ‘Jocelyn’.

One of the band’s standout moments came with their charity single ‘These Days,’ which soared to No.1 on iTunes. The song, written in support of their mother and wife during her breast cancer treatment, showcases The Entitled Sons’ ability to channel personal experiences into powerful, socially conscious music. The band’s impressive résumé includes performances across the West Country, notably at the 2023 Glastonbury Festival.

‘Jocelyn’ comes as a prelude to their debut EP, Still Too Young. Described as the modern equivalent of ‘Stacey’s Mom,’ spins a captivating tale inspired by a real-life encounter with an older woman, adding a provocative twist to their repertoire. Produced by Shadow Hands and recorded at Cornwall’s CUBE Studios, ‘Jocelyn’ features a vibrant mix of electric guitar, synth, drums, bass, and keys, all underpinned by energetic vocals. The song’s eclectic blend of pop rock, new rock, and indie rock defies genre boundaries, offering a unique listening experience that is both fresh and familiar.

In their own words, the band describes the song with characteristic humor and candor: “Erm. It’s about sleeping with your friend’s mum. Yes, we have changed the names! But we would like to say that no homes were wrecked.”

As they continue to captivate audiences with their intense live shows, The Entitled Sons are gearing up for a full festival schedule this year, culminating in an Autumn Tour of the UK from September to November. Fans can check out their tour dates on their official website.

Their growing acclaim is reflected in widespread press coverage, including features in the Daily Mail, Emerging Rock Bands, and Metro. With substantial radio play from BBC Introducing, BBC South West, and playlisting on Spotify’s Radar Playlist, The Entitled Sons are positioning themselves as a band to watch in the rock genre.

With a blend of familial chemistry, musical talent, and an ever-growing fanbase, The Entitled Sons are not just a family band; they are a formidable force in the music industry, poised for an exciting future.
