News: The Script will return to Australia for a tour and A Day On The Green

The Script are heading back down under on their ‘Satellites World Tour’ in January and February 2025. This will be the band’s first Australian shows in close to three years, after their 2022 Greatest Hits Tour.

“Australia always holds a special place in our touring hearts so we can’t wait to come back early 2025 to play the hits and new songs from our forthcoming new album ‘Satellites’.” – Danny O’Donoghue

The band will play seven shows across the country, including their a day on the green debut, with five very special outdoor shows – Bimbadgen, Hunter Valley, NSW on Saturday 25 January; Sirromet Wines, Mount Cotton, QLD on Sunday 26 January (ONLY QLD SHOW); Mt Duneed Estate, Geelong, VIC on Saturday 1 February (ONLY VIC SHOW); Peter Lehmann Wines, Barossa Valley, SA on Sunday 2 February (ONLY SA SHOW); Burswood Park, Perth, WA on Wednesday 5 February (ONLY WA SHOW). The Script will also play two arena shows in Wollongong and Sydney.

Joining THE SCRIPT on their a day on the green dates will be Brit Award nominated singer Calum Scott, local dynamic pop artist Montaigne, pop-rock multi-platinum trio X Ambassadors and Melbourne singer-songwriter Lotte Gallagher (excluding Perth).

The Script’s recently announced album, ‘Satellites,’ is set for release on Friday, August 16, via BMG Australia, and is currently available for pre-order. This album, their seventh studio effort, is the first since the passing of their beloved bandmate and guitarist, Mark Sheehan. Since their formation in 2001, The Script have firmly established themselves as one of the most definitive pop groups of their era. They have achieved more than 10 billion streams, a milestone that has earned them the BRITs Billion Award, and have sold 12 million albums. The band boasts six UK Number One albums and two Platinum-certified singles in the US. In Australia, they have secured five Top 10 positions on the ARIA album charts and seven Top 40 singles, including five times Platinum for ‘Breakeven’ and ten times Platinum for ‘Hall of Fame’ (featuring will.i.am).
