News & Track: Bliss n Eso Are Back With Upcoming Eighth Studio Album and Huge National Tour!

Bliss n Eso are stepping into 2025 with their eighth studio album ‘The Moon (The Light Side)‘ landing on April 11th and a huge 28-date run across Australia.

The latest taste of the album comes in the form of ‘Take Me Higher’, a track born from a free-flowing session that saw Bliss and Eso rediscover their signature lyricism. Originally just an instrumental and verses, producer Jon Reichart tied the track together and set the tone for an album opener that promises to be another atmospheric journey.

It’s a fitting start for an album that looks set to take Bliss n Eso fans on another deep dive into their world. Their last record, ‘The Sun‘ (2021), debuted at #2 on the ARIA charts, and if history is anything to go by, ‘The Moon (The Light Side)’ should be just as major. Bliss n Eso have spent over two decades shaping Australian hip-hop, racking up three ARIA #1 albums, nine ARIA nominations, and some of the most memorable live shows in the country.

Now, they’re about to do it all over again. The Party on the Moon tour kicks off in May, covering just about every corner of Australia, from major cities to regional hotspots. Naarm/Melbourne rapper/chef Ivan Ooze will be joining them as a special guest.

The lead-up to ‘The Moon (The Light Side)’ has already given fans plenty to get excited about. The first single, Feeling Fly, marked their return after ‘The Sun’, and the follow-up, ‘Vacation‘ (sampling Dirty Heads’ track of the same name). Then there’s Party on the Moon, a high-energy rework of Gang Starr’s ‘Full Clip‘, produced by DJ Premier.

‘With The Moon (The Light Side)’ just around the corner, limited edition vinyl pressings and merch drops are already up for pre-order. For longtime fans, this album feels like another chapter in a journey that started with ‘Flowers in the Pavement’ all the way back in 2004.
