Sheffield is synonymous with Tramlines, the music event of the year that has transcended above anything anyone could’ve imagined for the inner-city festival that began all those years ago.

The first line-up for 2017’s festivities have already been announced, welcoming none other than The Libertines to the main stage on Friday night. They’ll be joined by All Saints, M.O, and Twin Atlantic on the same stage across the weekend, whilst Spring King, Cabbage, Lucy Spraggan, and We Are Scientists take over the Devonshire Green.

Want more? Tramlines are hosting official After Parties this year, allowing revellery to carry on into the early hours and making you thoroughly regret any mention of “Monday Morning”. If you’re looking for the best of drum & bass, funk, house and garage, look no further The Octagon, Foundry and 02 Academy during Tramlines weekend (after 10PM, of course.)

The Tramlines After Parties welcome TQD (better known individually as Royal-T, DJ Q and Flava D), Bugzy Malone, Coco, and many more to Sheffield’s nightlife on Friday night, with Fuse ODG, Mike Skinner and Donaeo taking things over on Saturday.

You’ll also find Camo & Krooked, Loadstar, and MC Lowqui at the Octagon on Saturday night, joined by Sister Bliss, Kideko and S.P.Y. Festival Director, Sarah Nulty, says: “We love to watch the whole of Sheffield coming out to party for the Tramlines weekend, and this year is set to be no different. The newly announced after-parties mean that music-lovers can keep dancing for the whole weekend. We’re delighted to be bringing exciting new talent like Donaeo to the Sheffield stage, as well as showing off our own, home-grown rising stars like Coco.”
