‘Kingsbury’ is the latest electrifying offering from American hard rock/metal duo Lift The Curse, hailing from the heart of Texas. This dynamic band represents the culmination of an eight-year collaboration between two best friends, Ryan Hegefeld and Jon Yadon Jr. At the core of their musical philosophy is the art of songwriting, and the duo has discovered a perfect balance in co-creating their tracks. Typically, Ryan takes the reins on vocals, guitar, and drums, while Jon adds his touch with guitar, bass, and background vocals.

Lift The Curse’s music is an amalgamation of alt-rock choruses, head-banging riffs, blistering solos, melodic harmonies, and a collection of visually captivating music videos. Since their inception in April 2022, Lift The Curse has been on a mission to spread their music far and wide. With two full-length albums already under their belt, they are gearing up for an onslaught of new singles set to rock the airwaves.

The eagerly anticipated release from Lift The Curse, ‘Kingsbury’, marks a scintillating chapter in their musical journey. The song’s origins can be traced back to the acoustic version featured on their recent album, Suffer And Survive, which dropped on June 30th. It was always part of the plan to craft a full electric version of this standout track, and the duo has executed it with precision and unwavering passion.

Ryan offers insight into the song’s meaning, sharing, “The meaning behind the song is about the place where I grew up. A ranch in Texas that has my whole heart forever. I luckily called it home for a long time. I wrote hundreds of songs there, grew up deer hunting, made amazing memories with friends and family. Ultimately it’s my idea of heaven. My place.”

With ‘Kingsbury’, Lift The Curse invites listeners on a musical journey that taps into the wellspring of personal nostalgia while delivering a sonic experience that showcases their undeniable talent and boundless passion.

For fans eager to experience Lift The Curse’s electrifying performance live, mark your calendars for Grim Fest in San Marcos, Texas, on October 30th. Don’t miss this opportunity to witness the raw energy and unbridled talent of Lift The Curse as they continue to conquer the world of hard rock.
