The Isle of Wight’s finest export of wit, riffs and chaos, Wet Leg, are heading back to Australia for Laneway Festival 2026, and fans can rejoice — the band have announced two exclusive headline sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne in February.

The band have recently released their second album, moisturizer, powered by the wiry interplay between Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers and the live muscle of bandmates Ellis DurandHenry Holmes, and Joshua Mobaraki. Read our review of the album HERE.

Laneway 2026 + Sideshows

Laneway Festival 2026 already reads like a fever dream of alternative brilliance, and Wet Leg’s return is among the most anticipated moments of the summer. Known for transforming irony into anthem and awkwardness into catharsis, their shows are part sing-along, part spectacle, and entirely unpredictable.

For fans who missed out on festival tickets — or just want more of that glorious chaos — Wet Leg will play two intimate sideshows.

  • Monday 9 February – Roundhouse, Gadigal Land, Sydney NSW
  • Tuesday 10 February – Northcote Theatre, Wurundjeri Land, Melbourne VIC
