The Smashing Pumpkins will be bringing their ‘World is a Vampire’ festival to Australia in April. The organisers have announced the addition of a number of dates to the tour and changes to some venues.

The festival boasts some very special guests including alt-rock legends, Jane’s Addiction and killer Aussie rock from Amyl & The Sniffers, RedHook (at 3 concerts in Qld) and Battlesnake. Each show will also feature professional wrestling matches between Billy Corgan’s NWA (National Wrestling Alliance) and the WAOA (Wrestling Alliance of Australia).

Here is a summary of the changes:

There will now be an outdoors show in Brisbane at Eatons Hill Hotel on Saturday, April 15. The tour kicks off in style with two shows in Queensland before heading to Sydney where a second and final show has been added at the Hordern Pavilion on Wednesday, April 19. Melbourne will also be treated to a second and final show at PICA on Saturday, April 22.

VICTORIAN UPDATE
The show that was to take place at the Hastings Foreshore has had to be moved to another venue. All Hastings tickets are valid at Port Melbourne on Sat, April 22 or at Ballarat Sun, April 23.

A direct email is being sent to all customers explaining transfer or refund options.

NSW UPDATE
