After a busy 2025 marked by acclaimed teaser singles and international touring, alt-pop-rock act Zeroz have officially revealed their third studio album, The Dumbest Timeline. Building on the noisy, hyper-pop energy that earned them praise from outlets like Music Crowns and Return of Rock, the band aims to kickstart 2026 with the same vibrant momentum.
Opening with a subdued introduction, The Dumbest Timeline quickly re-establishes the relentless intensity that has become a hallmark of Zeroz’s sound. The album pairs emotionally resonant melodies with raucous, fuzzy guitar lines, infusing a glitchy, left-field energy into a sound which brings both alt-pop tendencies and elements of pop-punk and grunge. The album features a number of previously released singles, ‘Star Kill Lovers’, ‘The Dumbest Song Name Possible’, and ‘The Stupid Song’, which help to give the nine-track project a natural and cohesive flow.
The album has been described by the band as “about being stuck in the dumbest Timeline possible, being ruled by greedy, hateful idiots; instead of having a good life full of possibilities, you have a dumb life, void of anything real.” With its mix of youthful angst and sonic experimentation, The Dumbest Timeline emerges as both a compelling body of work and a reflection on contemporary frustrations, framed through Zeroz’s signature energetic lens.
