We’re delighted to premiere the video for the new single ‘Tony’ from Irish alt-rockers Atticus right here on Backseat Mafia. The band went into a studio for the first time with this recording, something they say “is a step into a more focused direction for us, following a sound that has been teased in our previous EP’s.”
Packed with scuzzy, buzzsaw riffs and melodic lines that gouge their way into your conscious, Tony is this gloriously messy slice of Alt/Grunge rock, that blasts out of the blocks right from the off.
The band say of the accompanying video that stars fellow Irish rockers Sunburn’s drummer Rob “The music video is a light hearted and fun story loosely inspired by Reservoir Dogs that was self funded and directed by our drummer Paul.‘
