Born in 2019, French rockers Fine Lame, offer frantic tracks of literary-oriented French rock with Anglo-Saxon-rooted performance poetry. They are set to release their debut EP ‘Nous tournons en rond dans la nuit et nous sommes dévorés par le feu’ (We go around in circles in the night and are devoured by fire) on the 29th of November via Microcultures Records. Backseat Mafia are pleased to premiere their single ‘Follow Me’ in anticipation of the release of their EP.
Rolling guitar notes set the scene for singer Raphaël Sarlin-Joly to lay down his deep morbid sounding vocals. You can hear the performance poetry style in the way Sarlin-Joly delivers the lyrics. It’s uptight, suspense-filled, and a dark brooding track. Something different to tickle your ear drums.
