We’ve featured Brooklyn based singer/songwriter Richard Orofino before here on Backseat Mafia, and now are delighted to be able to premiere his new single Bending today. Already a respected artist and sought after producer, he’s following up recent releases such as ‘Fake Me’ and ‘Wanna Say’ with a new track, Bending.
As with much of Ofofino’s music, he’s bending the rules here and there – the Grunge like twang of the guitars – largely acoustic, never quite reach a point of taking over, more adding to the psych-synth smudges and fragmented lines, as Orofino delivers the killer melodies over the top in an almost alt-pop way.
