One of the most amazing live spectacles you’ll ever see on stage, hit these shores next month for a 10 date UK tour, starting in Manchester on 6th Dec before culminating in Brighton on 16th. Gogol Bordello have put punk rock, Romani music and dub in a blender, creating an almost circus-like spectacle, which is just missing a juggler and a fire eater. Live you can’t take your eyes off them as they cavort around the stage, covering every square inch. Originally hailing from Manhattan’s Lower East Side, the seven piece have been wowing audiences all over the world for over 20 years, with vocalist Eugene Hütz the only permanent fixture in that time. Predominantly a 7-piece, although not quite in The Fall territory yet, they over 20 past members, they have a rich cultural heritage, bringing together musicians with links to countries such as Ukraine, Russia, Ecuador and Ethiopia. Their use of accordion and violin plus the multiple vocalists, combine to give a thrilling theatrical performance

They are the perfect pick-me-up party band for those long winter nights leading up to Christmas.
