The year’s Manchester Psych Fest hub will see Oxford Road’s ‘Circle Square’ transformed into ‘Cactus Square’, providing a gateway to the festival and featuring an array of activities for all attendees including screen printing workshops alongside delicious street food, meet & greets with top festival acts and much more.

North Tap Room in ‘Cactus Square’ will be home to meet & greet signings with MPF acts The Murder Capital, Sorry, The Mysterines, The Lovely Eggs and Say She She, whilst some of Manchester’s finest street food purveyors including The Holy Mountain Kitchen, Seitan’s Kebabs, Hello Oriental and Little Boa Boys will be serving up their delicious menus throughout the day.

For the first time, Psych Fest will host an intimate pop-up cinema in Lass O’Gowrie (opposite YES on Charles St) with screenings of psychedelic cinematic favourites like ‘Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas’, ‘DIG’, ‘Anonymous Club’ and even a UK festival exclusive screening of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard’s immersive tour chronicle ‘Chunky Shrapnel’ in The Pink Room at YES.

Meanwhile, independent watering hole Sandbar (opposite Deaf Institute on Grosvenor St) will welcome talks and workshops such as Tropica Cacti’s Terrarium Workshop and ‘From The Stage to the Picket Line – Revolutionary Spirit in the 21st Century’ by Grace Allport, along with forward-thinking discussions on psychedelics.

And that’s not all, as festival-goers can get involved in screen print workshops, pick up some merch or even a limited edition bespoke festival tote designed by Lucy Grainge, indulge in some pop-up art and truly immerse themselves in the Manchester Psych Fest experience. The festival hub will also host an open YOGA session from 11 am-1 pm.

‘Cactus Square’ will open to festival-goers from 10 am until 9 pm, with wristband collection also open from 10 am.

Manchester Psych Fest’s 10th anniversary is bound to be the best edition yet, as it takes over Manchester on 2nd September 2023. All early bird tickets are now sold out and very limited tickets remain available.

Final wave tickets are available now here
