American three piece Green Day have recently released the album Revolution Radio, which has been receiving about the best reactions since their most famous album American Idiot. Their second single from Revolution Radio is “Still Breathing”, a song which brings the powerful and energetic sounds of the band but also with it small details, electronica and even a millennium whoop, as well as a almost unnoticed bridge at the middle of the song.
As to the video, we see a Billy Joel Armstrong lost in his thoughts in a car, as other narratives sum up his own to show a big picture of surviving many situations in life, just as the lead singer returns to his band at the end.
Great scenarios and a quite beautiful photography- Green Day shows that they still have some good sounds and good ideas on their sleeve.
