What started out as an idea and an experimental studio collaboration by Blue Dot and Kendal Calling founder Ben Robinson, has ballooned into the Hello Cosmos of today, with over 50 collaborations and the core of a touring band. Taken from their upcoming EP, the band have released title track Run for President.
It’s dark and almost overbearing post-punk, these acidic riffs burning through the accompaniment, sitting somewhere close to the likes of Fontaines D.C. with its menacing tone as it winds itself up to its mighty conclusion. The band have also released visuals for the track directed once again (for the fifth time) by extraordinary Ukrainian visual artist VidsInvader aka Tara Merenkov.
