His last single ‘Sink in’ got him plenty of attention, particularly from the likes of Annie Mac and Phil Taggart over on Radio 1, but now Charlie Cunningham has revealed a new track ‘Bite’ from his forthcoming album ‘Permanent Way’.
Recorded in LA with producer Rodaidh McDonald (The XX, King Krule), it’s a wispy, smokey song, with these brushes of guitar taking the lead on the accompanyment. It’s the almost overbearing melancholy, reflected in the echoey production and yearning backing vocals that really wring the emotion out of the track.
