Industrial rockers The State, aka duo Andy Guy (vocals, synthesisers, samples, guitar and programming) and Will Goodey (guitar and backing vocal) are winding up to halloween by releasing a couple of live videos, both taken from their recent second album Ministry of Truth, which dropped through Misanthropic Records. Taking the spirit of Gary Numan, Rammstein and the like, the pair make this sort of edgy, dark music, filled with eerie chord changes and muscular guitars, all spruced up with melodies that stick in your ear, as the first of these videos, End Game, attests.
The second video, Ghost, drops on halloween itself, and the band are in the process of building up a rack of tour dates, if this floats your boat. Check it out below.
