J. Zunz, the solo moniker of Lorena Quintanilla from Lorelle meets The Obsolete, has announced the release of her third album, Del Aire, is due out on June 24th via the ever brilliant Rocket Recordings label. Alongside the news she’s revealed a new video, directed by Mexican artist Víctor Garay, for the track Ráfaga, and news of a whole run of European and UK dates over the Summer.

Ráfaga is a dark, synth-driven slice of stuttering, glitchy post-punk, with Lorena’s spoken echoey vocal beautiful against the angular, motorik background. Better still, the whole thing builds to this angst ridden crescendo to finish, which squeezes at the throat of your sensibilities, before suddenly disappearing.

Check it out below
