Peckham MC & DJ Pinty recently released his debut EP ‘City Limits’ on acclaimed Rhythm Section International records, and he’s just released an accompanying video for the track.
City Lights is this jazz infused breakbeat bubbler, with hints of garage in the background as it kicks in, with Pinty’s flow assured and full of description and humour. The accompanying video sees Pinty and accomplice ad-bust a billboard in his local area, posting up images from the inside of hi new 12″.
As he says “There was so much crammed in to a 12 inch sleeve I need to blow it up to 30 foot to really appreciate all the memories on it on it” says Pinty. “Only a day it stayed, after hours it took us to lay, never mind, many thanks to Reuben Bastienne-Lewis and Andrew Gillman for helping capture.”
