News: Rustie announces World Tour, plus free download

Following on from his much vaunted appearance at the Coronet, where he appeared as a special guest of Danny Brown, Glasgow beatmaster general Rustie has announced a couple of exciting pieces of news. Firstly, he will be heading out on a World Tour in support of his brilliant (really, read our review) album Green Language. Although he gave fans a glimpse of what’s to come at some of his festival appearances in the Summer, the tour will see Rustie incorporate immersive 3D visuals by A-Rock which feature Egyptian artefacts and flocks of birds.

To coincide with the tour news, Rustie is also releasing a free download of Chopped N Screwed edits of the albums vocal tracks. He’s persuaded Mike 5000 Watss, co-founder of DJ Skrew’s Swisha House label, and perveyor (at least on this evidence) of woozy, laid back late night listening. He’s chilled everything out, slowed it down and soaked it in these warm, even summery vibes.

Get hold of it, here
