US rock/metal five piece Sevendust have unveiled a new video for the song ‘Not Original’, taken from their upcoming twelfth studio album ‘All I see is war’, which drops on May 11th via Rise Records. It’s a follow on to the records first single ‘Dirty’ which is making some waves in the US active Rock Charts, and the video has already been viewed one million times.
Not Original is this earnest and melodic slice of muscular rock, with Lajon Witherspoon’s vocals strong (in both senses of the word) backed by these wiry guitar lines, which give way to choppy riffs, while the almost constant vocal harmonies wash over your ears allow the melancholy of the track busy itself in your inner angst.
