El Paso shoegaze exponents extraordinaire EEP will be releasing their much anticipated new album ‘Winter Skin’ on Friday, 5 November 2021, and have today released a video for the track ‘No Inbetween’, shot by Subharmonic City Productions and edited by their own multi talented singer Rosie Varela (who released her own debut single ‘Low’ earlier this year under the name The Rosie Varela Project – see my review here).
‘No Inbetween’ has a thrilling shoegaze onslaught: banks of guitars drenched in reverb and phasers with Varela’s vocals a distant and melodic gold filigree adorning the sonic waves. The video is a psychedelic fugue as band members collectively paint a canvas with colours and perform, the music a heady backdrop to the creativity.
