Upcoming indie/alternative band from Wakefield The Brackets have chosen Backseat Mafia to debut their new music video for their latest single Don’t Get Down.
The official video for the single is also a lyric video, a real DIY effort; with the recording and editing of the piece done entirely by the band members. This is a newest single from the Wakefield 4 piece who were first brought to our attention with their debut EP Nothing To Write Home About which we reviewed HERE. Don’t Get Down is a real summertime hit, the metallic guitar tones compliment the energetic bass line and the drum build up to the chorus is sublime. Singer and guitarist Buster Charles has a voice that is charming and super easy to listen to and the harmonies in the song add to the overall working class charisma.
The band are to play a home town show in Wakefield today (28/05) at the Inns Of Court as part of the King Street Krawl and you can catch them at 5:30pm!
