See: Wand release new video for Thin Air, announce European tour dates.

Taken from their recently released Laughing Matters album which came out in April via Drag City, Wand have released new visuals for the track Thin Air. The notoriously assiduous band, who’ve release an album a year for the last four years and have toured all over the world between times, have also announced new European tour dates.

Beginning with verses that are more Midlake than their perceived psych/shoegaze style, it draws you into Corey Hanson’s vocal, fragile at times, but assured and it sweeps over this almost delicate ripple of accompaniments. As it hits the chorus though, a wave of emotion bears down on you, raging guitars and insistent synth lines burst into life. It’s quite beautiful.

The visuals, directed by Gordon De Los Santos uses a horse as the star, and focuses on motion and image, companionship and relationships. Check it out here
