Tour News: Prides announce Autumn 2015 UK tour dates

If you haven’t heard of Prides by now then I’d have to wonder what kind of rock you’ve been living under. The synth-pop band released their debut album The Way Back Up in July, reaching #24 in the UK album charts, then headed out to T in the Park, Belladrum, and Reading and Leeds festivals across the summer. If that wasn’t enough, the boys released a music video or two, narrating ‘Messiah‘ and ‘Little Danger‘ in vivid technicolour and Oscar-nomination worthy acting.

It’s been a busy year but Prides haven’t quite finished yet. They’ve just announced a huge 23-date tour across the UK and Ireland this Autumn, going from Ayton to Belfast in just one month. Expect to see the band perform in Manchester, Edinburgh, and Glasgow, as well as London’s KOKO for Prides’ biggest ever headline show.
Those in Ireland and Wales are also in for a treat, as the trio plan on visiting Cardiff, Belfast and Dublin during the month-long excursion. You can probably expect massive dance parties, dazzling light shows, avalanches of balloons and red wine. Loads of red wine.

Most bands would announce a tour with a list of dates. It’s practical, right? Some might even have a poster. Yet (two thirds of) Prides have decided to present their tour in the form of a song, composed on a keyboard and a ukelele like they’re Youtubers circa 2008. And it’s brilliant.

Watch the ‘Going On Tour Song’, below:

Prides will be supported by their pals Fatherson for the entire tour.
