News: Slipknot Announce UK Tour In January

As the tour name itself states, Prepare For Hell… because Slipknot are coming to the UK in January! On their first UK tour since that in support of their 2008 album, All Hope Is Gone, Slipknot will head out across not only England, Scotland and Wales, but Ireland as well.

This tour is the bands first in the UK since the death of bassist Paul Gray in 2010. Their new album, released on October 20th, takes the bass-man’s name and is entitled ‘.5: The Gray Chapter’. Not only this, but these dates on our side of the ocean will also be their first since the departure of drummer, Joey Jordison at the end of last year. The members filling in their duties (not official Slipknot members as of yet, according to frontman Corey Taylor) had their identities concealed for some time, but are now thought to be ex-Against Me! sticks man Jay Weinberg on drums, and Krokodil guitarist Alessandro Venturella on bass.

However, not only do you get a long over-due dose of Slipknot in your eyeballs this winter, they’re also bringing none other than nu-metal veterans, KoRn! Make sure you DO NOT miss out on this tour for your fill of all things intense, hellish and heavy, all finished off and tied up neatly in bundles of dreadlocks. So, do as Slipknot say, and Prepare For Hell!Slipknot-Korn-Prepare-For-Hell-UK-Tour-2015-Poster
