Alfie Templeman has today released a new track ‘Colour Me Blue’. The single will feature on Templeman’s upcoming album ‘Mellow Moon’ which will be released on 27 May via Chess Club Records/AWAL.

Templeman has had a massive run since releasing his first single in 2018, achieving over 140 million streams worldwide. He also has a hit tour, supporting Chloe Moriondo in North America, under his belt. As if this is not enough, he has been receiving heaps of praise from journalists worldwide.

“…a soon to be international rising star”

British Vogue

You might think that the pressure would get to him, but with ‘Colour Me Blue’ Templeman shows that the hype surrounding him has not affected his ability to write songs that burst with energy and irresistible hooks. The new single features a complex, funky beat. It is a perfect pop paean to the power of love. It is a bubbly confectionary that is likely to become one of the hits of summer in the Northern Hemisphere this year. ‘Colour Me Blue’ was co-produced by Templeman and Kieran Shudall from Circa Waves and I have to agree with Templeman when he says “Colour Me Blue is a love song about that wave rushing through you that you feel when you fall in love”.

Templeman will be heading to Australia for the first time this June to perform as special guest for The Wombats in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra and Brisbane. He will also take the stage for two exclusive headline shows on Tuesday 14 June at Oxford Art Factory in Sydney, and Thursday 16 June at Howler in Melbourne. This follows the completion of his first ever UK and European headline tour.
