Following the surprisingly melodic self-titled album that Boston hardcore punk veterans American Nightmare released in early 2018, the band have continued to evolve beyond their aggressive roots with their latest single, ‘Life Support’. The song features relatively jangly guitars and confident, singalong choruses and has a similarly up-tempo cover version of The Lemonheads’ ‘Left for Dead’ on its B-side. You can check it out below.

The single is available digitally now and on vinyl from Deathwish Inc from February 14th. Meanwhile, American Nightmare are preparing to embark on an ambitious and wide-ranging tour of theatres across the US. Dates are below and support on all dates comes from the band’s fellow hardcore transcenders Ceremony.

February 13th – Royale, Boston.

February 14th – Brooklyn Steel, New York City.

February 16th – Theater of the Living Arts, Philadelphia.
