Mexican Summer last week launched a new digital singles project under the title of Looking Glass, looking At familiar names on its label to celebrate discovery, diversity and collaboration. To that end, this week has seen a new single on there from Ariel Pink – Iron Worrier.
It’s has this almost overbearing nature to it, as it its risen up and is towering over you, Ariel trading vocals with this synth line in delivering a (typically) killer melody, as it plays out like a 70s theme tune in the background. It’s fascinating, intoxicating stuff.
