featuring Veronica Torres from Pill, I want, according to the band at least, is “…inspired by the frustration of having to demand for the things you innately deserve. It’s about overconsumption and dissatisfaction, as well as the infinite process of personal improvement.”
That dissatisfaction and plain annoyance manisfests itself in this immediate, rip-roaring (I’ve always wanted to use that phrase) slice of proto-post-punk (and yeah that is a thing, because I just said it) with taught, complex backing -think Parquet Courts at their most serious, and a bag overflowing with attitude and acerbic observations. It’s quite something.
