Blanck Mass, aka Benjamin John Power, makes electronic music you can feel. It’s a visceral mix of noise, melody, and rhythm. It’s a textural sound that, much like his other gig in Fuck Buttons, is unlike anything you’re likely to come across.
His newest album, World Eater, is being released courtesy of Sacred Bones Records on March 3rd and first track “Please” can be listened to below. “Please” leaves some of the harsher tones of Blanck Mass’ previous releases at the door. Instead you get more of a Oneohtrix Point Never feel, especially with Power’s great use of vocal samples.
