Brighton indie-rock quartet, Bighead Tea Drinkers return with the infectious indie-rock fizzer ‘Hours.’

A vibrant blend of rock undertones and commercial appeal, ‘Hours’ balances it’s crunchy guitar licks, infectious energy and vibrant melodies. Built around off with a wall of distorted guitar lines, setting the tone for the energetic journey that follow, the driving drums and bass contribute to the track’s euphoric energy, creating a sonic landscape that captures the essence of Bighead Tea Drinkers’ explosive live performances. The vocals, delivered with earworm melodies, intertwine seamlessly with reflective and melancholic lyricism, adding an intricate depth to the tracks naturally infectious tone.

Marshall, the drummer and producer of the band, speaks about the growth of the group and the evolution of their sound: “This song is better than anything we have done before, I think. Our sound has massively matured since we came together, and ‘Hours’ is the first of what we have to offer in this new era of our band.”

Having already garnered attention with packed headline shows in Brighton and Essex, and the success of their breakout single ‘Tokyo’ on Spotify, Bighead Tea Drinkers are on a trajectory to national recognition. ‘Hours’ serves as a stepping stone for the band, cementing their position as ones to watch in the indie-alternative scene.

‘Hours’ is a fluorescent indie-alternative anthem that not only reflects the band’s growth and maturity but also showcases their ability to craft instantly likable and memorable music. With a sound that is both refined and exhilarating, Bighead Tea Drinkers are making a strong statement with this new single, signaling the beginning of an exciting new era for the band.
