Drugzz, aka Nashvilles Sam Krager, is set to release his debut single ‘Someone Other Than Me’ via Super Serious Records on March 2nd. Of the track, he says “Someone Other Than Me is a love struggle song. I wrote this song after getting out of an engagement in 2016. My heart was in shambles at the time and I couldn’t express clearly what was going on inside. So I wrote this song to help me get over her.”
It’s this day-glo slab of future bass, shards of synth and samples taken from an old Rogers drum set marry with his infectious vocal. It swirls and twists, writhing through the beats, as it sheds itssafe skin to become something more confrontational towards its climax.
